Meeting Someone New at a Party

If you meet someone at a party, think they’re cute, and want their number then here are some cool things you can say to them…

Come te llamas?

(what’s your name?)

Me llamo…

(my name is…)

Como estas? Que tal?

(How are you?)

Estoy… (cansado, bein, tranquillo)

I am… (tired, well, chill)

Cual es tu numero de telefono?

(What is your phone number?)

Es el…

(it is)

Quantos anos tienes tu?

(how old are you?)

Tengo __ anos.

(I have __ years.)

First to get their attention you could say: Disculpe. (excuse me)

New Student

Some things you should know when you are introducing yourself to a new student are:

-Hola

-Como estas?

-Que Tal?

-Mucho Gusto!

-De donde eres tu?

Contento

Cansado

(tired)

Enfermo

(sick)

Tranquilo

(chill)

Estresado

(stressed)

Emocionado

(excited)

Enojado

(angry)

Triste

(sad)

De buen humor

(in a good mood)

De mal humor

(in a bad mood)

Some ways you could be feeling: Tengo…

A student could bump into another student in the halls and one of them could be new. The one student that’s not new can realize that they’ve never seen the new student before and starts asking her questions.

((ask where are you from, how old is she?))

idk… any other stuff on the paper with all of the questions I guess.

Weather

When you are asking/telling someone about the weather here are some phrases that would be extremely helpful…

Frio=cold

Numblado=cloudy

Calor=warm

Humedo=humid

Sol=sunny

Lloviendo=raining

Viento=windy

Nevado=snowing

Bastente= very

For example: if you wanted to say it was very cold you’d say “bastante frio”
